Rachael Laws extends with Liverpool

Rachael Laws extends with Liverpool and will play with the newly promoted Reds also in the next season.

The 31-year-old spent twelve years with Suderland and was briefly loaned to Liverpool already during that time. In 2018, the English goalkeeper joined Reading but moved to Liverpool in 2020. Laws was one of the pillars in the team, winning the Golden glove in the last season of Women’s Championship. The Reds also extended with Leighanne Robe and Melissa Lawley recently.

“It was such an easy decision when Matt spoke to me and said he wanted me to stay on. The philosophy we have, to build on that and see where we can go, especially in the WSL now we’re there,” said Laws.
