Rachel Daly signs for Aston Villa

Rachel Daly signs for Aston Villa, joining the club from NSWL side, Houston Dash. She signed a three-year contract with the club.

The 30-year-old winger, who can also play as full-back, played for Leeds United and Lincoln Ladies before going over the Atlantic to study and play college football. After that, she was selected by Houston Dash in the draft and spent the last six seasons in Texas, making almost 100 appearances.

“It was a big decision to come home… it felt right to sign for Villa. The journey that the club is on is one that I want to be a part of,” said Daly, who joins Kenza Dali, Anna Leat, Danielle Turner, Simone Magill, and Natasha Harding as the newesdt summer signing.
