Rachel Williams joins Manchester United

Rachel Williams joins Manchester United from Tottenham Hotspur. She signed a two-year contract with the club.
The 34-year-old played for various British clubs throughout her career. In the Women’s Super League, the English attacker wore jerseys of Doncaster Rovers, Chelsea, and Notts County before joining the Spurs in 2020. Williams also has 13 caps for the national team.
“I’m very pleased to join this fantastic club. It’s a big opportunity that’s been handed to me and I’m looking forward to getting started. United have a good squad and I’m excited to work with these girls for the coming season,” said Williams, who is second summer arrival for the Red Devils, following Adriana Leon.
