Remi Allen moves to Aston Villa

Remi Allen moves to Aston Villa from a newly promoted Women’s Super League side, Leicester City. She signed a two-year contract.

The 30-year-old has spent the last season in the Women’s Championship, where she won the promotion to the English top flight. Unable to reach a new deal with the Foxes, Allen moves to Aston Villa on a free transfer. She has played in 18 games and scored 5 goals in the last season with Leicester City.

“The start of an exciting journey ahead with a special football club. Cannot wait to get started,” Allen wrote on Instagram.
