Remy Siemsen and Janina Leitzig join Leicester City. Both players will stay with the Foxes at least until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Remy Siemsen is moving to Leicester from Sydney FC. She played for various teams in the US and Australia before her first Europe experience with a Swedish side, AIK. The Australian forward, who also made 3 appearances for Matildas, will debut in the Women’s Super League.
At the same time, Jenina Leitzig is joining the Foxes on loan from FC Bayern München. The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who joined Bayern in 2021, will look to gain some match practice with Leicester, since she has not been a number one choice between the post in the Bavarian capital.
