Remy Siemsen and Janina Leitzig join Leicester City

Remy Siemsen and Janina Leitzig join Leicester City. Both players will stay with the Foxes at least until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old Remy Siemsen is moving to Leicester from Sydney FC. She played for various teams in the US and Australia before her first Europe experience with a Swedish side, AIK. The Australian forward, who also made 3 appearances for Matildas, will debut in the Women’s Super League.

At the same time, Jenina Leitzig is joining the Foxes on loan from FC Bayern München. The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who joined Bayern in 2021, will look to gain some match practice with Leicester, since she has not been a number one choice between the post in the Bavarian capital.
