Ria Percival extends with Tottenham, which will run until June 2022 with the option for an additional year.
The 31-year-old joined Spurs in 2019 from West Ham United. The New Zealand international defender made 38 appearances for the club so far, 17 in the last season. Percival debuted for the Kiwis senior team at 16 and has so far collected 151 caps to date, which makes her the most capped player in the New Zealand senior team. She has played in four World Cups (2007, 2011, 2015, 2019) and three Olympic Games.

“We are trying to build as a team and keep pushing our way up the table to establish ourselves in the league. Keeping experienced players and players that can bring, I suppose, a leadership role to the team which I’m hoping to do is something that I’m honoured and want to make the most of,” Percival added.
