Shelina Zadorsky pens a new deal with Tottenham that will keep her in London until the end of the next season.
The 29-year-old played in Canada and Australia after finishing her college career. She tried herself in Europe for the first time, when she played for a Swedish side, Vittsjö GIK, in 2015. After that, the Canadian centre-back played in the US for Washington Spirit and Orlando Pride, before joining Tottenham, first on a loan but became Tottenham player in 2021. Since then, Zadorsky was named Spurs captain and made 49 appearances across all competitions.
“Working with a club that wants to keep building a winning culture is so exciting to me. Working with Rehanne and the rest of our staff has made me a better player and I want to keep growing. It’s a huge honour to play for the club,” said Zadorsky.
