Sjoeke Nüsken joins Chelsea

Sjoeke Nüsken joins Chelsea from a German side, Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the season. She signed a three-year contract with the Blues.

The 22-year-old has spent her whole senior career with the Eagles, whom she joined in 2019. Since then, the German midfielder played 50 matches and scored 12 goals. Chelsea will be first experience abroad for the German international with 15 caps on her tally.

“I wanted to move to the Women’s Super League because it’s a good league, English football is very cool to play in and it’s the right thing to do now. I’m very excited and happy to be at Chelsea and I’m looking forward to next season,” said Nűsken.

The Blues also announced that Magdalena Ericsson and Pernille Harder won’t extend their contracts with the club and will leave London at the end of the season.
