Sophie Haug moves to Liverpool

Sophie Haug moves to Liverpool from an Italian side, AS Roma, where she spent the last two seasons.

The 24-year-old spent the major part of her career in Norway with LSK Kvinner. She left her homeland to join Giallorosse in January 2022. In the Italian capital, the Norwegian forward scored 12 goals in the 39 appearances. She was also part of the Serie A Femminile winning squad in the last season.

“I’m really excited to be here and I can’t wait to get started. I feel like it was the right next step for me. I got a really good impression of the club and I believe they’re building something big here and I would really like to be a part of it,” added Roman Haug, joining Grace Fisk, Teagan Micah, Mia Enderby, Jenna Clark and Natasha Flint.
