Sophie Ingle renews with Chelsea and will stay in London for at least an additional two-and-a-half-years, until June 2025.
The 31-year-old started her senior career with Cardiff City but signed for Chelsea already back in 2012. She finished her first spell in London in 2014 and moved to Bristol City and later to Liverpool. In 2018, the Welsh midfielder returned to Chelsea and has since become one of the regulars in Emma Hayes’ squad. On international level, Ingle played over 100 matches for Wales.
“I’m really delighted to sign for Chelsea again. I feel like this club is home away from home. I’ve settled in from the very first moment that I signed about five years ago. I’m really delighted to continue this journey with this amazing club,” said Ingle.
