Steph Catley pens a new deal with Arsenal that will keep her in London for two more years, until June 2024. She joins Lotte Wubben-Moy, who also renewed with the Gunners recently.
The 28-year-old joined Arsenal in 2020 from Australian side, Melbourne Victory, where she also played of most of her career. The Australian defender also has experience from the US, where she wore jerseys of Portland Thorns, OL Reign and Orlando Pride. Since her arrival, Catley made 41 appearances and scored one goal for Arsenal.
“It feels absolutely incredible. I’ve been here for two years now and I’ve made some incredible friendships and I feel right at home here. I’ve been through some tough times and some great times and I feel that I’m growing so much as a person and as a player. I’m just happy to call Arsenal home for another few years,” said Catley for arsenal.com.
