Toni Duggan returns to Everton

Toni Duggan returns to Everton after 8 years and her contract expiration with Atlético Madrid, She signed a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old debuted in Everton’s shirt on the senior level in the 2007. During her first spell with Toffees, she won the League Cup and FA Cup. Later she moved to Manchester City and Barcelona. In 2019, she joined Atlético Madrid and made 55 appearances for the Rojoblancas in the last two seasons.

“It feels so good to be back home. This is the club I started out at when I was younger. To be back here now, it’s an amazing feeling. As soon as I knew I could return to Everton, I was coming back,” Duggan said.
