Trio join Manchester United. Diane Caldwell joins Manchester United from North Carolina Courage on a contract until the end of the season, while Jade Moore will stay in Manchester until the end of the next season. Signe Bruun will join the Reds on loan until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old Diane Caldwell spent the last season in the US with North Carolina Courage, after having previously played for SC Sand in Germany for five seasons and almost 100 matches in Frauen Bundesliga. The Irish international defender with 84 caps has previously played also in Norway, Iceland and her native Ireland.
“Today is one of the most special moments in my life so far. As a lifelong United fan, it’s a dream to sign for the club, and it’s a big moment for me and my family. I’m so grateful to be here and will wear the badge with so much pride,” said Caldwell for manutd.com.

Shortly after, the arrival of Jade Moore was also announced. The 31-year-old is an experienced English international with 50 caps. Moore played for various clubs in the Women’s Super League before making a move over the ocean and signing with Orlando Pride in 2020. After NSWL was postponed, the English midfielder was loaned to Atlético Madrid, for whom she played 10 matches before returning to Orlando.
“I’m delighted to be here at a club like Manchester United; it’s a proud moment after a difficult period for me. It’s great to be back in this league too, I have a lot of experience in the WSL, having played in it for around a decade, and I think I can bring some of that to this team,” told Jade Moore.
