Veatriki Sarri became a new member of the Blues, joining them from Championship side Sheffield United.
The Greek forward, 22, signed a contract until end of the season 2021/22.
“I am Grateful to the club and the manager who have shown such trust in me.”
Beginning her career with Leeds United and Fylde, in 2018 Sarri joined Sheffield United’s second team, but soon became a standard player in Sheffield first team, led by Carla Ward, current Birmingham City coach.
So Sarri is looking forward to unite strength with her former boss after Ward became Blues Women’s Head Coach in August 2020.
“I am extremely happy to sign for Blues. It’s an absolute pleasure to be part of such an historic team. They have given me this huge opportunity to live my dream and hopefully help this team achieve great things,” Sarri said.
