Veatriki Sarri signs for Brighton & Hove Albion, arriving from Birmingham City. She signed a two-year contract with the club.
The Greek forward has played in England since her time with Leeds United in 2017. After a brief spell with Fylde Ladies, the 24-year-old joined Sheffield United, where she spent three seasons before signing for Birmingham City last year. In the last season, Sarri played 26 matches for the Blues, which got relegated from the Women’s Super League. In order to keep playing in the English top flight, Sarri becomes the second summer signing for the Seagulls, after Poppy Patinson.
“Brighton is a club with great ambitions, I am really excited to be a part of the club. Having played against Brighton, you know they’re a very organised team. It’s an honour to be here,” said Sarri.
