Women’s Super League: Liverpool win Chelsea in the opening matchday

Women’s Super League started with matchday 2 after a one week delay due to Queen Elisabeth II death. Newly-promoted Liverpool surprisingly won against title holders, Chelsea by 2-1. Manchester City lost against Aston Villa in a 7-goal thriller. Arsenal opened the season with 4-0 win over Brighton, while Red Devils defeated Reading with the same result.
